After a brief rest and some lunch at the Lower Saddle, we were ready for the 7 mile hike out. We headed down into the upper bowl with a larger group of climbers and guides who had also summitted that day. The snow was getting soft, so the guides felt more comfortable having us roped in for the traverse across the first part of the headwall. (Photo: Dave Fernley)
